<div align="justify"><font size="2" face="Verdana">Gamespot.com&#8217;s Brad Shoemaker stopped by the studio last week to check out the new DLC we&#8217;ve been working on and posted up his impressions today along with some of the first screenshots to ever go public from the new maps. There will officially be four new maps in the map pack, and Brad goes over two of them in depth, including the new map Broadcast and Creek.</font><font size="2"><br />

</font><font size="2" face="Verdana"><em>The second map we played is entirely new, and it&#8217;s named Creek. But there&#8217;s a lot more to it than a simple babbling brook. This is a very large-scale outdoor map with a small cluster of houses on one side of it. In the middle, there&#8217;s a huge ravine circling the perimeter with multiple levels of pathways up its side. Down below, the trail leads along the eponymous creek bed to a waterfall. Elsewhere along the base of the ravine, there&#8217;s a lengthy and winding cave that cuts underneath the hill then out to the other side. As big as it is, there are a lot of places to go on this map; from prone sniping atop the cliff face to hiding out behind a rock in the tunnel, you never know where an opponent will be attacking you.<br />

<p><em><strong>New Kill Cams</strong> - Everything that can kill you has a Kill Cam now. Grenades, Airstrikes, Claymores, C4, M203 Rounds, RPGs, anything. So jump online, get owned alittle and check them out. They&#8217;re awesome, especially Grenades and M203 shots that go across the map and through a window.</em></p>
<p><em><strong>Host Migration</strong> - Host migration was added, so now when the host leaves you won&#8217;t get dropped back to your own lobby by yourself. Everyone will stay together. Host Leaves, everyone returns to lobby, selects next best host, and the game starts up again. No more re-inviting, re-partying up because a host ended the game.</em></p>
<p><em><strong>Improved Sniper Accuracy </strong>- The Sniper rifle accuracy has been improved. No more, WTF? shots now. Your cross hair will be a better representation of where your shot will ultimately land. Try out a sniper class today, let us know how the new accuracy feels.</em></p>
<p><em><strong>Improved ACOG Scope Accuracy</strong> -  ACOG scopes accuracy on any weapon has been improved. Test it out, throw it on one of your classes and give it a go.</em></p>
<p><em><strong>Upgraded Spectator Cam </strong>- Now when you&#8217;re a spectator you have the option to follow in 3rd person or 1st person. As well as rotate 360 degrees around the player you&#8217;re watching. Next time you&#8217;re dead in Search and Destroy and just watching your team mates do stuff you know you can do better, now do it in 1st person or rotate around them.</em></p>
<p><em><strong>Quick Mute Option </strong> - Now you can easily and quickly mute players in-game or in-lobby without ever going through the Xbox Live blades. Just go to their gamertag on screen and hit &#8216;A&#8217; to quick mute in lobby, or via the in-game scoreboard if playing. Quick. Easy. Salvation!</em></p>
<p><em>In addition to these feature additions there will also be:</em></p>
<p><em><strong>Improved Network Performance For Larger Games</strong> - 18 player games now require more bandwidth to host, resulting in smoother performance for players.</em></p>
<p><em><strong>Optimized Server Selection for First Match</strong> - Server selection is now optimized to select best bandwidth servers associated by LSP.<br />

<font size="2" face="Verdana" class="content"> </font><font size="2" face="Verdana"><strong>New Kill Cams</strong>  </font><br />
<font size="2" face="Verdana"> We&#8217;ve added new Kill Cams for everything. So now those &#8220;WTF!&#8221; grenades that seemingly come from no where, you can see that a guy threw it over the house, it hit a tree branch, bounced off a rock, into a tiny window, where you happened to be pointing out of, and say&#8230;&#8230; whoa. Follow behind RPGs and M203&#8217;s kill cams, claymores, Airstrikes where you can follow the bomb from the plane until it hits you. </font><br />

<font size="2" face="Verdana"><strong>Host Migration</strong>  </font><br />

<font size="2" face="Verdana"> Sniper and ACOG scopes have been tweaked and are really improved. I use to not snipe at all (mainly because I&#8217;m a horrible sniper), but now it&#8217;s so much more fluid and natural, while still having the same difficulty to use, it has no more &#8220;WTF I know I hit that guy!&#8221; moments. </font><br />
<br />
<font size="2" face="Verdana"><strong>Upgraded Spectator Cam</strong>  </font><br />
<font size="2" face="Verdana"> Now when you&#8217;re in spectator mode you can follow them in 3rd person, switch to their first person view, or rotate the camera in a full 360 degrees around whoever you&#8217;re watching. </font><br />

So no longer getting killed while trying to make your way through the Xbox blades for the mute option so you can shut up the guy who always seems to find it funny to sing into his mic or cover up for his lack of skill by telling you how to play Domination his way.</font></div>]]></description>

They announces that they currently are working on some official new maps for Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare that are going to be available as DLC in the future. <font face="Verdana"><font size="2"> Last week IW let us know that they were on the look out for the best community-made maps, but this week IW can let the news out that they're working on official IW-made maps of their own as well behind the scenes.  These new maps will be adding even more variety to the online multiplayer of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare and they are excited to gradually share more details regarding the new maps as they progress.</font></font><br />

These maps are often physically divided by a river, bridge or some other object for team death matches (war) only. It got clear to many mappers and modders very early that the stock spawn logic in COD4 didn't work as anticipated.</font><br />

<font size="2" face="Verdana"> This little mod fixes that problem on most of these maps and on top of that can be use along side with other mods as well.
